Things are going slow but steady with the properties that we are currently working on. We've submitted plans to renovate the facade of two of our building and are waiting for the architectural review board to give the OK so we can move forward with exterior work. The interior renovation of the commercial space at 15 Liberty is on hold while we wait to start work on the facade. On the bright side we have gotten approval for painting the outside of 15 Liberty once the facade is done. We're staying within a historically appropriate paint palate which works out great as we actually love greys, teals and blues. If you are looking for historic paint palates we suggest Sherwin-William's, we went to one of their stores in Brooklyn and went a little crazy with the paint samples.
We're pleased to be mentioned in Newburgh Restoration's article about the southern section of Liberty Street. You can read the article here. It goes into detail about the developers working on the school that is across the street from 2 Liberty. It would be great if we got our projects completed around the same time. Rumor has it that something really cool might end up in the commercial space (and backyard) of 2 Liberty.
